About

Our organic beef bavette is a fantastic, affordable cut for braising, pasties and pies. Rich and full of meaty flavour, it turns meltingly tender as it cooks. We deliver it as large pieces, so you can either cook it as-is or cut it into chunks just the size you want. Serves 4.

Delivered in insulated packaging to keep cool on your doorstep. Minimum meat order £15 to cover the cost of the packaging.

How to prepare

Can be braised or stewed, and is the perfect cut for slicing into a Cornish pasty. Alternatively, you can sear it in a pan and cook like a steak. It must be served rare to medium; it will be tough and chewy if cooked any further. Slice across the grain to serve.

Storage

Keep refrigerated below 5°C. Once opened, use immediately for best quality. If not required immediately freeze as soon as possible and always within the use by date. Once frozen use within 1 month. Defrost in a fridge and use same day. Do not refreeze.
