Mini organic roasting joint prepared in the Riverford butchery. This small joint of organic beef topside or silverside is just right for 2-3 people, with some leftovers to enjoy tomorrow. It’s a great value cut: quick and easy to cook, while remaining deliciously lean and tender. The perfect midweek roast, or Sunday feast for a smaller household.
Delivered in insulated packaging to keep cool on your doorstep. Minimum meat order £15 to cover the cost of the packaging.

How to prepare
Preheat your oven to 200˚C/Gas 6. Season and oil generously. Brown well in a hot frying pan on all side, including the ends. Transfer to the oven and roast for oven for 20 mins for medium (add 6 mins for well done). Leave somewhere warm to rest for at least 10 mins before carving. Use any resting and roasting juices as the base for your gravy.
Storage
Keep refrigerated below 5°C. Once opened, use immediately for best quality. If not required immediately freeze as soon as possible and always within the use by date. Once frozen use within 1 month. Defrost in a fridge and use same day. Do not refreeze.
