Jam jar salad dressings
Not just for salad leaves but to dress roasted or raw veg. Put everything in a jam jar, screw the lid on tight and shake it like Elvis. What could go wrong?
Ingredients
Mint & Yogurt Dressing
- 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
- 3 tbsp yogurt
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 4-5 large mint leaves chopped
- salt & pepper, to taste.
Green herb vinaigrette
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- small handful of chopped parsley/chervil/tarragon
- 1 tbsp cider vinegar
- 3 tbsp oil
- salt & pepper, to taste
Orange & honey dressing
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp runny honey
- 1 tbsp orange juice
- 3 tbsp oil
- salt & pepper, to taste
Caesar salad dressing
- 1 garlic clove, finely chopped
- 3 anchovy fillets, finely chopped
- 1 egg yolk
- ½ tsp Dijon mustard
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp sunflower oil
- 1 lemon
- salt & pepper, to taste
Miso dressing
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp sweet white miso
- 3 tbsp untoasted sesame oil
- juice from half a lime
- salt, to taste

Step 1
Choose your recipe and put everything in a jam jar. Screw the lid on tight and shake until it all emulsifies and comes together.
